Overview

Atlas had great docs trapped in a slow, hard-to-search site. The rebuild kept the content and rethought everything around finding and reading it.

The challenge

Developers bounce when search is slow or results are noisy. The bar was “faster than asking a colleague.”

Approach

• Static MDX pages with a fully client-side Pagefind index
• Search that opens on a keystroke and ranks headings above body text
• A focused reading column with generous type and clear code blocks

Outcome

Search went from a second-plus round trip to instant, and support tickets that started with “where do I find…” dropped noticeably.
